A little about me ...
I graduated with a degree in Psychology in 1992 from Plymouth University and have since worked in the Supported Housing Sector for over 20 years in a variety of roles. These include Scheme Management for the elderly, managing floating support services for vulnerable council tenants and developing supported housing projects for those with mental health issues to name a few.
I have always enjoyed being able to empower and successfully promote the independence of clients and take great pride in the work that I do. I have a very empathetic and caring approach, but am very professional at what I do.
I have also studied Counselling Skills and Theory over a 2 year period and have completed a Certificate in Supported Housing (CIH).
Over more recent years I have developed an interest in holistic therapies and having benefited from Reflexology myself, I decided to pursue a full time Diploma in Cheltenham. I am now fully qualified in Level 3 Reflexology and Nutrition (awarded in 2015) and it is my privilege and pleasure to be able to offer this fantastic therapy to local clients.
In November 2016 I also completed a 4 day CPD course and am now qualified in Precision Reflexology. This is an additional technique which can be incorporated into Reflexology treatments to help provide more power and definition. It works with the subtle energies of each client and helps balance body energy.
In July 2018 I also completed a 2 day CPD course in using Crystals with Reflexology. I can now offer this as an addition to the standard treatment to help enhance and balance chakra points.
